Bob

Bob is the main protagonist of the show and one of the two protagonists of Mega Machines. He is the resident general contractor for Spring City and Fixham. There is no build too big or too small for Bob and his enthusiastic team, who will always jump to assist their community in every way they can. Bob's optimistic attitude always shines through, especially when reassuring his team.

Appearance[]

Bob is a fair-skinned man with brown eyes and brown hair. His construction gear consists of a red and yellow checkered shirt, a faded white and blue waistcoat with a white 'B' on the back, faded blue trousers, brown shoes, and a yellow hard hat with a small orange 'B'. Around his waist, Bob also has a brown-coloured tool belt.

Some people hate Bob and his team because of their new looks. but some like or neutral to it. Even James A Williams.
He speaks with a Manchester accent in the UK dub
In the US dub, Bob was voiced by Colin Murdock who also voiced Kalus, Sever, Zeke and Krylox from Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 and Mr. Pteranodon from Dinosaur Train.
In the Thomas & Friends MINIS range, the engine Construction Toby features him inside his cab, and makes it the only variant which isn't in a crossover theme that features a licensed character. It's probably due to the fact that Fisher-Price didn't need permission due to them both being owned by HiT.
A running gag throughout the first season is Bob's inability to make anything other than sardine sandwiches. In addition to being disliked by Wendy and Leo, the machines have commented negatively on them as well. Pilchard is the only one other than Bob himself known to eat them.
Rainmaker Entertainment animated Bob without gloves for much of the series, only adding them whenever necessary and appropriate. When DHX Media took over animation duties, Bob's standard outfit was given gloves by default, and he is only rarely seen bare-handed.
